The key technologies related to tire development, design and production independently developed and owned by the Technical Center of Guizhou Tyre Co., Ltd. cover nearly 4,000 specification in the following 11 aspects: OTR tire, truck tire, light truck tire, agricultural tire, industrial tire, solid tire, all-steel truck radial tire, semi-steel radial tire, run-flat tire, special-purpose tire, and rubber air springs, etc. The key technology mastery rate of leading products reaches 100%, and the leading products are completely produced with independently developed technologies. In particular, OTR tire, agricultural tire, industrial tire, solid tire, run-flat tire and special-purpose military tire are in the leading position in the same industry. In these fields, Guizhou Tyre has a number of independently developed technologies. With these technologies, Guizhou Tyre has constructed the largest production and export base of OTR tires and large agricultural tires.

In the past two years, the Technical Center has made continuous innovation and break-through, and has independently developed a series of domestic unique technologies and products in cooperation with universities and research institutes, such as forestry wire buffer tire, polyurethane filled tire, large semi-steel radial tire, run-flat tire (RSC tire) with VFI support, run-flat tire with VP-PV support, special military tire, all-steel truck radial tire bead design technologies, all-steel OTR tire, all-steel urban light-rail traveling tire, urban light-rail horizontal tire, new cultivator tire, giant OTR tire series, and large agricultural radial tire series. These products are exclusively or firstly developed in China, and most of them are used to replace the imported tires, and have achieved considerable market benefits and brand recognition.

In the field of special military tires, with a number of domestic unique technologies and stable quality assurance, the products of various specifications developed and produced by Guizhou Tyre are selected as the supporting products of national defense key equipment and competent systems.
