The off-site relocation project with annual production of 3.25 million special tires of the Company worked out smoothly.

As reported by our reporter, the construction of the special tire workshop with a gross floor area of 114,778.4 square meters in the off-site relocation project with annual production of 3.25 million special tires of the Company worked out smoothly. 




The project was a relocation project of Advance Company and OTR Tire Branch and commenced in early 2015. Due to the heavy rain during construction, the construction site conditions were very poor, especially the geological part of the foundation was loose backfill, and the collapse was more serious. In order to ensure the construction period and avoid any increase in construction cost, based on the careful and meticulous design of the engineering technicians and various test results, punched piles with shaft wall protection by drilling mud were used finally to solve the problem of the site smoothly, and saved the construction cost by RMB 3 million. 



The relocated facility of Advance Company in the project was fully completed in October 2015 and has been put into operation smoothly. For the relocated facility of OTR Tire Branch in the project, the civil work was completed in December. 




The rubber mixing workshop in the project, covered  a gross floor area of 41,805 square meters, was featured by complex engineering structure, large difference in story height, high formwork structure, large variation in beam and column cross-section, and heavy load on structure. Fast detachable scaffold was used in the construction, saving construction cost, shortening the construction period, and realizing the goal of commencing the project and installing the equipment in the say year.


 
In the project the raw material preparation workshop covered a gross floor area of 32,250 square meters, each story was 12m high, the engineering floor load was heavy, so a lot of high formworks were required. Due to the complicated geological conditions of the project site, there were many mud ditches and gaps, the karst was more developed, the rocks were more broken, and the column load was larger. According various calculation results, raft foundation with independent foundation bottom and fast detachable scaffold were adopted to save the construction cost, speed up the construction schedule and shorten the construction period.
