A few days ago, the reporter visited Machine Group 1 of Dongjiakou Ore Terminal Co., Ltd. and learned that 45 Carerpiller 980H loaders were equipped with the tires of Guizhou Tyre. “In the period of more than one year of trial operation, there was no case of breakage and flat tire. The service life was generally between 6,500 and 7,000 machine-hours. The tires were resistant to wear and very cost-effective.” Gong Derui, a technician of Machine Group 1, said.

From the beginning of 2015, Guizhou Tyre and Qingdao Port had deepened the cooperation and piloted the operation at Dongjiakou Ore Terminal Co., Ltd. At present, Carerpiller 980H loaders of Machine Group 1 used 90 pieces of 29.5R25 steel wire tire and HOWO dump trucks of Machine Group 2 used 210 pieces of 13R22.5 steel wire tire. These machines were mainly engaged in ship tank cleaning, city delivery, handling and other operations. The tires had been safely operated for 6,500 machine-hours.              

After nearly one year of trial operation, the tire performance fully met the operational requirements, and the tires were advantaged with high safety factor, sound heat dissipation, high cost performance and light weight. The tires had saved more than RMB 1.1 million in tire cost for Dongjiakou Ore Terminal Co., Ltd. It was expected that in March, all loaders and dump trucks of Dongjiakou Ore Terminal Co., Ltd. would promote and use the products of Guizhou Tyre.

It was said that the products of Guizhou Tyre were exported to more than 60 countries and regions such as South Korea, Britain, Italy, Australia, South Africa, the United States, Canada, and the annual export volume accounted for more than 25% of the total output.
